Palisades received the following notice:

“Please be advised that a man in a white panel van approached one of our 
13-year-old girls this morning as she walked to practice.  The man tried 
unsuccessfully to engage the girl in conversation.  She wisely ignored the man. 
  
Also this morning a man in a white panel van was slowly following one of our 
six year old boys as the young boy walked his dog.  The boy’s father was 
watching from a distance and approached the van which then drove off. 
  
The driver of the van in both cases was a white male, about 50 years old.  He 
had light brown hair with a receding hairline.  He was disheveled looking, 
wearing a white t-shirt. The van was old and looked like a van that a painter 
would drive. 
  
The police are informed of the situation.” 
  
A similar situation happened at the Montgomery Square pool within the past 
few days.  And just last week, police were called to the Old Farm pool and the 
Inverness Forrest pool for a similar incident involving a white van.
